In 2004 I started Tim Hagan Outdoors as a guide service on the Potomac River mostly
for Big Trophy Blue Cats. At that time it was just to show other anglers the joys of
hooking into a trophy Catfish. I have been in the In-Fishermen Magazines and the 2009
Catfish Insider and ever done a TV show for Discovery Channel. But I wanted to do
something more to help bring local Catfish anglers together. I started a small
tournament trail fishing the waters in Maryland and after just one year I known it was
going to be more that just smoething small. So I opened up The Catfish Nation in hopes
that not just Catfish anglers but outdoors Men & Women from around the country would
visit and share stories and tips from all over the country

Over the last 2 year many outstanding people from around the country have come
outboard with the Catfish Nation to make it more then just a catfishing club we are now
one big family of catfishing anglers. Our MESSAGE BOARD is a free forum where
anglers from around the country post and answer question about the outdoors. THE
CATFISH NATION main web site is home to our 5 chapters that hold Catfishing
tournaments around the country, as well as many others items for the Catfish angler.
Over the last 2 years I have worked to come up with many great items for Catfishing and
with one visit to our TACKLE SHOP you can restock your tackle box with some hard to
find items with big savings.

New for 2009 is THE CATFISH NATION MAGAZINE a bi-monthly magazine loaded with
catfishing Items, Articles, Stories and tournament information. I hope you will check
them out and stop over and visit with all the members. They like myself just enjoy
catching and talking about catfish and sharing what we can with others
